About Us
SHALINI MEMORIAL SEWA SANSTHAN is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), registered as Trust (Reg. No. 343) on 17th June, 2013, with an aim of catering to the nutrition, health and educational needs of underprivileged children, We are also registered under Section 12A and 80G of Income Tax Act and under FCRA (Reg No – 136550515).
We focus on raising awareness and community mobilization activities including awareness on education, health and hygiene to the underprivileged section of society and to inculcate knowledge among them so as to make them responsible citizens and for the betterment of their future.
We (Shalini Memorial Sewa Sansthan) have been running a campaign for the underprivileged children in rural/ slum areas with the goal of providing quality education and nutrition.
We also run an Old Age home “Saroj Vridhashram” in Mehra Chungi, Etawah, UP, to serve the elderly who are in need food, shelter, and clothing while keeping in mind their vulnerability. Along with meeting all of their other requirements, we also continuously provide for their medical care.
Focus Areas
Our NGO is dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children, elderly, and women through targeted initiatives in nutrition, health, and education. We believe that proper nutrition is the foundation of a healthy life.
Education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Our educational program are designed to offer pre-school education for holistic development that enhance academic performance and future opportunities. We aim to provide vocational training, literacy classes, and educational resources to empower women as well with the skills needed for economic independence and personal growth.We aim to provide balanced meals and nutritional supplements to combat malnutrition and support healthy growth. Offering nutritional education and resources to empower women to make informed dietary choices for themselves and their families has been part of our initiatives.
Access to healthcare is a fundamental right. Our health initiatives focus on regular health check-ups, vaccinations, and medical camps to address common health issues and promote overall well-being. Also awareness about basic hygiene is necessary.
Through these focused efforts, we strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment that enables underprivileged children, elderly, and women in Lucknow to lead healthier, more educated, and fulfilling lives.
